I would like to thank Purple Frog and Abder in particular for making sure that I was aware that I would need to apply for an additional HMO licence for three of my 3-bed rental houses in Harborne. This legislation came into effect on 6th June 2023.  I was aware that selective HMO licensing was coming into force but only in certain wards which did not include B17 so I thought that I would not need to apply.  Abder phoned me up to explain the difference and ensure that I knew that the houses needed the licence.  He also invited me to a webinar which was being run by Purple Frog so that I could understand what the new regulations meant for me and followed it up with another call to make sure that all my questions were answered.  My business partner and I are applying for the licences ourselves as we are familiar with the process, but Abder has still been incredibly helpful to send through a sample floor-plan so that we get it right and also checked periodically to make sure that we aren’t struggling.  He is not only efficient and thorough but most knowledgeable and if he doesn’t know something, he finds out and calls me straight back.  I am very grateful to Abder and Purple Frog for all the help.
