About Us
Our Managing Director, Patrick Garratt started Purple Frog in 2007 in the Midlands, with a focus on helping students improve their accommodation experience, the company has grown and evolved drastically since then, with offices in the East and West Midlands, and the Southwest and provides a full range of services for all property types.
The board of seven directors have over 100 years of experience in the market, many of the directors are property investors and developers themselves.
Our focus on creating properties that tenants want to make their home, and then looking after them as they deserve to be looked after gives us purpose and ensures our property investors make the right returns.

Patrick Garratt
Managing
Director
Patrick founded Purple Frog, whilst studying at the University of Birmingham, from where he graduated in 2007 in Commerce.
As part of his degree he was required to write and submit a business plan and decided he may as well see it through by creating Purple Frog!
Patrick spends time in each of our 4 offices and is often accompanied by his black labs Hugo and Babe.
Sabrina Courts Operations Director
Sabrina looks after our head office functions, making sure all contractual paperwork is compliant and accurate.
Sabrina studied Architecture at Birmingham City University and loves putting her degree to use when advising clients.
A proud Birmingham City Football Club supporter, Sabrina, hasn’t missed a home or away match in over 5 years!
Kate Gregory Asset Management Director
Kate Gregory, a distinguished property expert joined Purple Frog in 2024, with an impressive career spanning nearly 25 years across three countries, Kate joins us as our Asset Management Director where she will oversee the letting and management teams across the company.
Nadine Bevis Property Sales Director
Nadine oversees the management of our Birmingham and Bristol offices as well as recruitment and training.
Nadine Bevis’ journey to become Regional Director started back in 2012 when she joined the company as an apprentice and has since worked in all areas of the business.
Shaun Knight Development Director
Shaun oversees the Management of our East Midlands properties. He also takes the lead on Project Management.
Shaun Knight joined Purple Frog as a lettings negotiator in 2014 with no experience in the property industry but quickly rose to the challenge becoming a branch manager within four years before progressing to become Regional Director.
Claire Pace Director and Company Secretary
Claire Pace started as an administrator in 2013 and has grown with the company, more recently working as personal assistant to the managing director and taking on a wider remit to help develop the business in several areas.
Paul Somerfield
Branch Director (West Midlands)
The sales department had only recently been created when Stephen Haigh took the helm in 2016; he brought decades of experience with him which has enabled Purple Frog to become a leading sales agent for investment properties.

Purple Frog renovated my student home and the house looks contemporary. All the staffs are always friendly and helpful.
